Our 50th Class Reunion was held September 14-16. Our reunion created reconnections with old friends and many of us made some new old friends! If you were unable to attend, hopefully you will be able to attend our 70th Birthday Celebration in 2025.

Thank you to the sponsors of our Friday night Meet and Greet event at the yacht club, we couldn't have put this event on without your financial support. Thanks to our sponsor, Greg Brudnicki, for obtaining the venue for us. I know that the yacht club brings back special childhood memories for many of our classmates and the club did an excellent job handling over 200 guests.

Our main event at the Edgewater Conference Center was just perfect for accommodating 260 classmates and guests. Thank you to those of you who contributed some extra money to help with miscellaneous expenses both before and after the reunion. Again, we couldn't do it without the financial support of classmates.

Thank you to Steve and Dar Isler for making arrangements to get Tim Humphreys and Bill Fontain for making arrangements for Robert Dove to attend both Friday and Saturday night events. I know that both Tim and Robert enjoyed seeing fellow classmates.

**Our website is a secure site! Please remember to update your email if you change carriers or jobs, you can also add a secondary email address. Our website is not connected with Classmates.com and our website costs nothing to join or to receive information. Please look at the Missing Classmates list and if you are in contact with any of the names on the list please encourage them to join our website, we would like to get in touch with as many classmates as possible!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Greetings, classmates:

First of all, many thanks to Ann and her team for such a great 50th reunion! Fifty years! Wow. I just don't know where the time went. It was only yesterday, wasn't it, what we were trying to get a few more tickets for family to attend our graduation ceremonies at the Civic Center.

Even though we lived back in Panama City for nearly 30 years and raised our twins there, we're now in Tallahassee but do plan to return to PC once some renovations at my parents' homestead in the Cove is renovated.

There are a few who also went to college together (Steve Boe, Denny Trumbull, Jeffrey/Dwane Dean) and became fraternity (Sigma Chi) brothers together. Even so, we went our separate lives--Steve a dentist in South Florida, Denny a doctor in Montgomery, Jeff a lawyer in Orlando

All to say with the large turnout (even though it was just half the class), it was not possible to visit with everyone. For that, I look forward to the next gathering, which I believe will be in 2025, our 70th Birthday Celebration. So mark your retirement calendars. We'll have a full life to catch up on.

Our 50th class reunion was absolutely wonderful! I was very introverted and shy in school, and it was wonderful to now be able to see my schoolmates and give them a hug or at least say hello. There were no barriers or clicks, and it was great! I will cherish this time always, especially being able to visit and catch up with dear friends. Thank you Ann and everyone who worked so hard to make this possible. God bless.

Debbie Sullivan Powell

I sincerely regret having to miss the reunion weekend events. I have had an educational meeting scheduled out of town that I have to attend and have tried to wiggle my way out of it.

I am going to miss seeing all of you old Dudes and lovely Ladys.
