I agree with Laura ..... the best way to describe Willie is that he was a true gentleman. I played with Willie on defense on our football team. He was one of our best players and you never ever heard him complain. He was a great leader "by example". God bless you Willie ! We cherish the thought that you are in God's great hands !

Willie was one of the kindest people that I have known.  Willie truly led by example, he was quietly strong.  I love seeing that he had 17 grandchildren & 1 great grand.  No doubt that they have been taught well with his great example.  I trust that the Lord has surely sent comfort to all of Willie’s dear family and friends.

Willie was a great friend for  many years.  We talked over the years and would reminence about our days running track and playing basketball at Jinks then on to Bay.  I considered Willie a friend .  Willie was a gentle giant and would always have your back. It was a shock to hear of his passing.   He will be missed by all that knew him .   God belss you Willie.

Willie and I were the only Taylors in school in Jinks Jr. High and Bay Hight so we always had Homeroom together all through the years. At Jinks one day I joked that Willie and I might be brothers,  he looked at me and with his dry wit said, "nope, don't thinks so".  Willie has been described by other classmates as "kind, compassionate, and a gentleman" and he wall all of the above.  What great ways to be remembered by people.

Willie, thank you for you service to your community with your long career in law enforcement.  My condolences to the Taylor family.

God Speed Brother

The Other Taylor
