Audrey was my cousin, and we grew up together.  She died on July 15, 1995 in Durham, North Carolina.  I went to see her in April before she passed away, and she was both courageous and peaceful.  Her daughter, Andrea Hamilton Weinsten, is an intellectual property attorney in Washington, D.C.  Audrey's life was all too brief, but she left a loving mark on everyone who knew her.

I remember spending the night at her house. She was funny and smart. I still miss her and am glad her daughter is doing well.

Shirley, I do think I ever knew you and Audrey were cousins!    She was the sweetest person, too.   I remember I loved her hair, and she always wore hairbands and I thought her hairbands looked better on her than mine did on me!  Funny the things we remember!  I would love to see some photos of her of sometime.  I tried to look at her daughter's Facebook page, but it pretty much private.  Beautiful daughter ...

Thanks for the update, Shirley. I never knew you two were cousins. Audrey helped me get my driver's license way back in the day. Audrey, Micki Strickland, Maggie Rathburn and I all seemed to hang out during our Gulf Coast days as well. Audrey was a precious friend and I still think of her with love.

Audrey was a wonderful person and a wise friend. Her valuable advice was instrumental in making my decision for my major at FSU. I will always remember her fondly.

I so missed Audry during our reunion, but felt her spirit present all weekend...
