Bay High Class of 1973

Welcome to the Bay High Class Of 1973 website!

October 10, 2018 forever changed the landscape of our beloved home town! Many of our classmates and their familes were affected by the damage and devastation. Classmates have returned to Panama City over the past several months to give of their time, talents. and financial resources to help fellow classmates, their families, and our community. Our beloved Bay High School was severely damaged by Hurricane Michael, many buildings were damaged or destroyed. The Restoration process has begun and the students are being housed in portable classrooms.

The Missing Classmates page on our website is filled with many classmates that have not been located.  Please look at the list and if you are in contact with any of the names on the list please encourage them to join our website. Plans are for us to celebrate our classmates reaching the age of 65 in 2020 with a birthday celebration and our 50th Class Reunion in 2023.

Our 45th Reunion was celebrated May 18 & May 19 at the Holiday Inn Select. Both nights were filled with memories of years past with old friends and new memories were made with both old friends and new friends. Photos from the reunion have posted to our website. If you still have some pictures that you took with your phone that you would like to add to our website you can send them to my phone which is 850-819-5666 or my email which is edmonah1@gmail.com Also, when you text them to my phone, please tell me who you are and who is in the picture.

Remember if you forget your password, just drop me an email and I will change your password to 123456 and you can change it to a different password once you log back in.

Please continue to keep Bay County and our classmates in your thoughts and prayers as we go through the restoration of our homes and community.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
After 36 years of working in hospital pharmacy I retired from the University of South Alabama Medical Center, a Trauma Center, on June 1, 2016.
I was Assistant Director of pharmacy for several years, and, when our crazy Director finally moved on, I was Acting Director for 3 long years. But when I could I went back to a staff position. That was the job for me!
Retirement is amazing! I am a quilter, which involves many wonderful activities, like fabric shopping, working with my amazing Tin Lizzie sit down quilting machine, and using and restoring vintage Singer 221 Featherweight machines, which quilters love.
My sister Kitty and I take a quilt trip every year. England was last year and Ireland is on the horizon. Retirement is wonderful.
Hello classmates,

Mary Ellen and I regret that we will not be able to attend the reunion due to a prior commitment. We're taking a group of kids from our church to Washington, DC that weekend. We hope you have a great time seeing old classmates and recalling fond memories. See you at the 45th!!
