Bay High Class of 1973

Welcome to the Bay High Class Of 1973 website!

Most of our classmates are turning 65 this year and we had discussed having a 65th Birthday celebration, however between Hurricane Michael and the pandemic we will not be able to get together as a group. There are still so many buildings and businesses that have not been repaired even though it has been 19 months  since Hurricane Michael forever changed the landscape of our beloved home town!

Our beloved Bay High School was severely damaged by Hurricane Michael, many buildings were damaged or destroyed. The Restoration process has begun and earlier this week the last of the portables have been removed. Construction has begun on a new STEM building and once it is completed they will begin work on the new auditorium.

The Missing Classmates page on our website is filled with many classmates that have not been located.  Please look at the list and if you are in contact with any of the names on the list please encourage them to join our website. Plans are for us to celebrate our 50th Class Reunion will be in the spring of 2023.

Remember if you forget your password, just drop me an email (edmonah1@gmail.com) and I will change your password to 123456 and you can change it to a different password once you log back in.

Please keep our classmates and their families in your thoughts and prayers.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
After 36 years of working in hospital pharmacy I retired from the University of South Alabama Medical Center, a Trauma Center, on June 1, 2016.
I was Assistant Director of pharmacy for several years, and, when our crazy Director finally moved on, I was Acting Director for 3 long years. But when I could I went back to a staff position. That was the job for me!
Retirement is amazing! I am a quilter, which involves many wonderful activities, like fabric shopping, working with my amazing Tin Lizzie sit down quilting machine, and using and restoring vintage Singer 221 Featherweight machines, which quilters love.
My sister Kitty and I take a quilt trip every year. England was last year and Ireland is on the horizon. Retirement is wonderful.
Hello classmates,

Mary Ellen and I regret that we will not be able to attend the reunion due to a prior commitment. We're taking a group of kids from our church to Washington, DC that weekend. We hope you have a great time seeing old classmates and recalling fond memories. See you at the 45th!!
